Machine Tool Spindles

Machine tool spindles are engineered and manufactured by Thread-Craft Inc. for CNC milling machines in addition to grinding, turning, tapping and drilling applications. We rebuild or build new from your prints or reverse engineer as needed. We build simple machine tool spindles up to belt driven, direct motorized, high frequency, robot arm, HSS and several other machine tool spindles. Our machine tool spindles are used to machine metal, composite or plastic.

Thread-Craft machine tool spindles are manufactured from a variety of alloy and stainless steels. Our spindles are hardened as required from Rc 28 to 62. We precision grind all bearing diameters, locknut threads, internal and external tapers, and diameters as required.

We specialize in large machine tool spindles up to 16" in diameter and 96" long. Our new and rebuilt spindles have a one year in-service warranty on parts and labor. Our spindles are manufactured and assembled in a completely climate controlled, modern 27,000 square foot plant by some of the industries most experienced and skilled machinists and engineers.
