Lead screws (or acme lead screws) are another specialty at Thread-Craft. We engineer and manufacture both inch and metric lead screw assemblies in right and left hand versions. We deliver precision ground screws for higher accuracy and longer life and expertly manufacture single and multiple starts for most alloy and stainless steel lead screws.

- Speed data - in inches or millimeters per minute
- Length-distance between bearings measured in inches or millimeters
- End Fixity-refers to the method by which the ends of the screw are supported. The three basic types of end fixity are: Free-no support; Simple-shaft supported at a single point; Fixed-shaft rigidly restrained against axial rotation.
