Lead screws or acme lead screws are another specialty at Thread-Craft. Acme is a 29° thread form commonly used for lead screws. We engineer and manufacture both inch and metric lead screw assemblies in right and left hand versions. They are used in lower cycle applications that are not mission critical regarding the product life, and when cost is an important consideration. We offer precision ground screws for higher accuracy and longer life. We manufacture single and multiple starts for most alloy and stainless steel acme lead screws.

Special diameters up to 10" (254mm)
Standard leads from 0.050" (1.27mm) up to 1" (25.4mm)

Bronze, alloy or plastic nuts
